Baroque development resumed
by Tathar on May.24, 2009, under Baroque
Some of you have been asking for updates on how development is proceeding on Baroque. Quite frankly, I haven’t posted any updates because there haven’t been any to post. I have been preoccupied with my college work and earning my AA degree so that I wouldn’t have any surprises or summer courses I’d have to take. Now that I have my degree, I have all summer to work on Baroque. (continue reading…)
Temporary portal removed
by Tathar on Mar.28, 2009, under Website
We removed the temporary portal on our homepage so that we could make room for a custom design. We had originally planned to remove it once our custom portal was ready to launch, but extreme circumstances forced us to remove it prematurely.
The good news is that our blog is now linked to directly from our homepage, which is currently a quick and dirty “coming soon” page I created in a matter of seconds. Now anyone can find our blog while we post updates on the progress of our new design.
UPDATE: The temporary portal has been restored. After spending some time staring at my eyesore homepage, I realized that it’s better to have a poorly performing (but working) portal there instead of a quickie “coming soon” page.
New game announced: Baroque!
by Tathar on Mar.28, 2009, under Baroque, Card Game Series
Hatchling Games is proud to announce our first game in development, codenamed “Baroque.” Baroque will be the first game in a series of card games with RPG elements. More information on the game will be released over the coming months as development progresses.
We will be working with several other Flash developers on this game, so expect more information on these developers soon.
Hatchling Games launches blog
by Tathar on Mar.28, 2009, under Website
Hatchling Games LLC, a new start-up company, has just launched a new website to showcase our upcoming Flash games. If you’ve taken a look at our homepage, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that there’s still a lot of work to do. Over the next few weeks, expect a massive overhaul of the website (and something other than my 15-second eyesore of a homepage) as more of our website is launched.
Expect our logo to be revealed in the next few weeks, too. All I can say right now is that our logo will feature a lovable dragon hatchling.
Hatchling Games is proud to have our own blog. We have lots of plans for it, and I hope that everyone interested in our games finds it worthwhile to check back frequently.
Late update: The artist working on our logo mysteriously disappeared without a trace shortly after this post. Granted, the artist was working as a volunteer, but we do need a new artist who is comfortable and skilled in drawing dragons.
